THE WORLD’S GOING TOPSY TURVY

Either I have no life, watch too much YouTube — or both.

I turned away from mainstream media about two years ago because I’d had enough of switching the tele on to watch the morning news, only to be reminded every day that this wasn’t really news at all. I’m talking two minutes of gloss-filled fluff pieces and ten minutes of sports highlights. And when there is a piece that deserves catching, the media has a tendency to catastrophise and cause world panic.

And then you have these narcissistic news anchor-types who think that giving us their opinion makes it more credible.

I remember when the words conspiracy theory were a don’t-go-there zone. Taboo, of the tinfoil-hat kind.

Friends dismissed friends, simply because they dared to question what they were being told by the elites. Heaven forbid anyone should think differently. Apparently, the government knew best, and we were expected to accept it.

You were either the person questioning power mongers and the lies they were telling, or you were blindly accepting information, even when it appeared questionable.

But I don't know. I feel that since COVID, everything has turned topsy turvy, where the distinction between black and white has become so blurred that it’s difficult to know what’s real and what isn’t anymore.

To name but a few, I'm talking about the Mandela Effect, living in the Matrix, the theory that we all unalived in 1999 and are now living in some kind of simulation.

Then there are the aliens and artificial intelligence in the White House, and reptilian royalty at Windsor. And the suggestion that we're being desensitised to all this shit before being exposed to the truth. I'm sure I've missed something.

And what’s with the cannibalisation theories surrounding Hollywood and the rich? What did they do with the real Jim Carrey — who dared mention more than he should?

Even some of this seems far-fetched amongst the tin-hatters.

But there is something in those chemtrails — just saying.

Why are we suddenly hearing that we must prepare and start prepping for something?

Ambiguous warnings, vague explanations. Like, what the actual mind-fuck are we preparing for anyway?

World War III, cyberattacks, power grid failures, another pandemic, economic collapse, food and fuel shortages. It just goes on-and-on.

Our governments seem to be falling short of providing any kind of explanation. At least narrow it down for us before the next toilet paper fiasco.

So here we are, navigating a world where it's becoming increasingly difficult to separate fact from fiction, truth from speculation and genuine concerns from absolute conspiracy.

Perhaps the world really has gone topsy turvy. Or perhaps I've just been watching too much YouTube.

And now I must leave you and continue my couch-surfing YouTube priorities where clickbait has drawn my attention to some time-traveller dude who has absolute proof of nothing really.

Maybe I'm not the only one who has too much time on their hands. 💀

Until next time.
